Quality Assurance

Mendelson Company is certified under the ISO:9001-2015 quality standard. The company runs a QA system that includes well-defined procedures and proper work processes that streamline intra-organizational processes. This grants the customers confidence in our high-quality products accompanied by technical support which takes into consideration the customers’ needs.

The QA system examines supplier credibility, performs internal and external inspections within the organization and for the company’s overseas suppliers, operates third party oversight companies including local laboratories and international agencies such as TUV, SGS, DNV etc. The QA system encompasses all aspects of the company's quality processes, from the moment an order is placed with manufacturers and suppliers until the products are delivered to the customer.

The QA system is designed to ensure the high quality of our products, including storage processes, testing products from shipments and up to quality approval certificates in accordance with the relevant standards and requirements of EN10204 standard in all forms, and entering them into the computer system.

Quality Assurance covers all operations relating to quality issues and handles a variety of topics, including: inspection, supervision, validation, tests and analysis of customer needs and market demands, product characterization, planning testing and distribution. It also includes approval of suppliers' suitability to produce high quality products that uphold Israeli and international standards, depending on the complexity of the process and service and/or customer demands and/or demands of the relevant standards.

The QA department responsibilities include:

*Recommendations for constant improvement of product quality and organizational processes

*Identification of quality-related issues and methods of action required by manufacturers/suppliers to rectify them.

*Recommending and providing solutions for quality problems from the point of order issuance up to overseeing the production process

*Ensuring that quality-related recommendations are implemented

*Developing and approving products according to the demands of local (Israeli stamp of approval) and international standards

*Analysis of customer satisfaction and instating improvements based on relevant findings

The company's quality policy is committed to supplying high quality products and services that meet or exceed customer demands. The company supplies products that uphold and are manufactured according to international standard requirements, including: ASME, ASTM, API, ANSI, ISO, DIN, EN, NEN, SFA, SWA, AWWA and Israeli standards.

As a leading company with products that abide by standards, we manage a system of supplier measures that constantly monitors company suppliers’ quality with emphasis on certification level, production level, performing corrective action and handling complaints.

The company is highly experienced in adapting products to our customers’ individual needs and specifications, providing adapters and personal oversight in the field during installation or problem solving. The plant is supervised by the company's QA department that examines the products after their modification and issues a quality certificate for every new product.

Subject to the QA department, the company has quality inspectors in each branch, who are responsible for testing shipments that arrive at company warehouses, sending samples for testing in independent local laboratories. Shipments that do not fulfill standard/customer requirements are disqualified and sent to the quarantined goods warehouse.
