In early 2005, the company made a strategic decision to establish a quality assurance system in the company, which minimizes the amount of complaints and failures of Company products before reaching the customer.
This decision was made due to several needs: sensitivity in the field of Activity of the company's products, the need to align the company to market requirements, with an emphasis on high product quality according to international standards and Israelis. And due to increased efforts to reduce customer complaints related to the level and quality of the products obtained from various suppliers.
The goal for the quality assurance system is building a quality control system for the company, from the ordering stage to the date of delivery to the customer, with an emphasis on standards and quality of products according to relevant standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, EN, DIN, etc..
Derived from that goal action the Quality Assurance Manager Responsible on several areas of activity in the company as:
The first area is building a suppliers files for company providers. File will contain the following documents:
RFI(request for information) questionnaire which will be written for this purpose, qualifications and authorizations of the suppliers, customer lists and supplier Recommendations from its customers, statistically tracking this supplier failures, rating suppliers by SRS (Supplier Reporting System) and its performance in prior shipments.
In order to monitor the suppliers, there is the need to match the exact specifications from the standpoint of quality control and compliance standards before sending the order to deliver. Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for preparing documents that will be an integral part of the contract with the supplier, which will work fully customizable to customer demand, Israeli and international standards & Specifications.
After receiving the shipment randomly tests will be performed for products received from suppliers, both in terms of laboratory testing including testing institutes overseas operation, random checks in the country of the supplier before delivery, testing in laboratories operating in the country for nondestructive testing for upgrading quality of products according to customer specifications. Inspection & testing at the point of receiving products (pipe fittings, valves , etc.) before get them into stock.
In addition, as an integral part of the company products that meet the international standards, that define the level of quality required by the relevant standards, we been upgraded to the level of control on certifications ( COC/COT ) obtained from the suppliers and was adapted to the requirements of standard EN10204 on The various kinds ( 3.1/3.2/2.1 ) according to customer requirements . Documents are examined according to the strictest standards requirements of : PED 79/23/EC, Lloyd's, DNV, TUV, etc. Depending on qualifications of the supplier and product.
As part of quality assurance, certificates are been approved by quality control before delivery to customers , by signing documents and organized storage of documents in the ERP system , so that the supply of goods to the customer will include the quality certificates for the products.
The Company have a workshop who install various types of actuators and valves , makes adjustments for fittings and valves in accordance with customer requirements and needs, changes are controlled by Quality Department, so that any changes performed on the new product , will be cover by material certificate which lists the change made and product regulatory approval and suitability requirements.
Another area of the Quality Assurance Manager is managing and implementing the international quality system of the company ISO: 9001:2008, that includes the collection of customer complaints and examining the source of the complaint. Improvement corrective actions, and / or treatment failure, delivery times, etc.
In addition the company has adhered to the required safety and environmental protection in accordance with International OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001
